Leader of the Polish II League, Łódź, had a reputation to defend at the away meeting against Ostrów on Sunday, whereas the home team were fighting not to loose face to their local fans and to maintain a statistic with very few home losses to Łódź ovwer the years.
Nevertheless both teams succeeded, and the final result of the meeting was a draw at 45-45.
Claus Vissing made an elegant start in the very first heat passing both opponents from third and securring a draw, after his teammate went off the track with engine failure. That, however, ended his luck for the day, as he rode in the fence in his third heat and was excluded from the re-run, and he finished with a total score of 4 points for 4 heats.
